Advanced Analysis: Create Account & Service

A missing account or service might occur when invoices are loaded and an account or service is listed on the invoice but does not exist in Cimpl. To correct this error, you must create an account and service.

  1. Go to Billings Center > Discrepancy Tracker and select the Advanced Analysis tab.
  2. Select a Provider. The Advanced Analysis grid opens.

    Note: Providers must have their Advanced Analysis permission configured by Cimpl. To set up this permission contact cimpl-support@uplandsoftware.com. Without this permission configured, Advance Analysis is unavailable.

  3. In the Filter section, select the Advance Analysis Status filter. The filter appears under Selected Filters.
  4. Select the IS operator.
  5. Select Missing Account & Service.

  6. Click Apply. Only errors that have the status of Missing Account & Service now appear in the grid.
  7. Click More Options beside the error entry you want to update.
  8. Select Create Account & Service . The Create Account & Service form opens.
  9. For Service Information:
    1. Select a Service Type.
    2. Select a Service Contract.
    3. Select an Assignment: Employee or Organization.
    4. Click + Employee or + Organization to assign the service.
  10. For Account Information:
    1. Enter Account Name.
    2. Click + Cost Center to select a cost center.
  11. Enter Comments.
  12. Potential Cost Saving is selected by default.
  13. Click Apply. The account and service has been created and the error corrected.
  14. Go to Payment Readiness.

    Note: Only accounts which have no errors in Advanced Analysis will be able to be processed through Payment Readiness. Accounts with remaining errors will be ineligible for payment.
