Parent contracts will often have service contracts associated with them and creating that link in Cimpl helps keep track of services associated with parent contracts for a more accurate picture of assets managed in Cimpl.
- Go to Configuration > Administration > Service Contracts.
- Select the service contract entry which you'd like to associate to a parent contract.
- Select the Plans Details tab.
- Click + Add Contract for the Parent Contract field. An Add Contract pop-up opens listing all available contracts.
- Select the parent contract. It appears in the Parent Contract field.
Now that you've made the association between your service contract and parent contract, the service contract is listed under the parent contract's Service Contracts tab in Contract Management.
