Modify report permissions
When you toggle a report category on or off, you are assigning the same value to all the reports in the category.
Example: If you were to toggle the Financial Reports permissions to on, then the permissions for the Average Three Months report, the Duplicated Charges Report, the Invoice Base Report, the Usage Summary Report, the User Contact Report, the Wireline Mapping Charges Report, and the Zero Usage Report will all be toggled on as well.
Caution: If you turn off the permissions for an entire category or for a baseline report, then any user-created report in the category of which is based on the baseline report will become hidden from view for all users, including the creator of the report. The creator of the report does not receive any notification that their report is blocked from access. So before turning off permissions for any report category, please ensure that all affected parties have adequate warning.
- Go to Configuration >System Preferences > User Management.
- Select the User Profiles tab.
- Click a Default or Custom profile. The Details pane opens.

-

. Click the Off icon to change to On
.
Individual Report Permissions
You can set permissions for individual reports.
If you turn on the permission for a report that belongs to a category whose permission is off, you will turn on the permission for the category itself. However, no other report from the category is turned on. So, the following situation can occur:
- Permission for all Financial Reports initially set to Off.
- Permission for Average Three Months Report toggled On, along with the Financial Reports Category. However, permission for all other Financial Reports remain set to Off.
