Enhancements

AP Posting

The new AP Posting module in Billing Center allows you to create an Accounts Payable file from Cimpl. The new module requires organization specific structure. You must contact Cimpl to have this module set up. Once configured you can:

• Schedule an AP file to be created.

• Download or send the AP file directly to FTP.

• Add an approval process to the AP file creation process.

Advanced Analysis

The Advanced Analysis feature available in the Discrepancy Tracker helps users figure out if there is an inventory discrepancy and allows users to update inventory items and services directly from the tracker. Once configured, you can quickly address errors and warnings. You can see invalid cost centers, missing services or accounts, and address the issues by updating the missing information all from one location in Cimpl.

Accounts

A redesign of the Accounts module with enhanced capabilities:

• Redesign of the main grid to show subaccounts. Added export function.

• Create parent/child hierarchy of accounts.

• Show sub accounts information on the Cost graph.

• Bulk update Account statuses.

• A Sub Accounts tab shows you all child accounts plus associated services.

• View, edit, and add notes to the Activity tab.

ServiceNow

The Cimpl-ServiceNow connector enables employees in organizations using ServiceNow to perform self-service actions. Any actions executed in ServiceNow synchronizes with Cimpl's workorder and inventory. The integration streamlines support requests and wireline and mobile device and service actions such as new orders, upgrades, moves, and disconnect.

Approval workflows can also be created in ServiceNow, making it easy for managers to approve requests based on company policy. To learn more about the Cimpl-ServiceNow connector or to get started, contact cimpl-support@uplandsoftware.com.

Changes

• Employees – Assign employees and services to any level of Organization (Division, Subsidiary, etc.). The change improves data management and ensures correct visibility by end users. In My Services, Employees or Organizations that have at least one service are bold, and a HoverCard displays the number of services . • Billing Center - The Billing Center, previously found under Inventory Center, is now a part of the main menu level. A few modules were moved to the category: User Statement Dispute, Account Payable, Payment Readiness, Dispute Management, and AP Posting. For more, see Billing Center.

  

• Request Center – A new request type, AP Approval, was added to support the new AP Posting module. AP Approval requests approvals can be configured in the Request Configuration module. Users with the right permissions can Approve, Cancel, or Reject AP Approval Requests.

• Mandatory fields validation – All mandatory fields are indicated with an asterisk (*) after the field name. Any mandatory field not populated receives a validation error message when a user tries to Apply or Save. Once returning to the page, the fields not properly populated are highlighted in red. This behavior is standard across Cimpl for all mandatory fields.

• Payment Readiness – Users can now perform Actions at the account level directly from the grid, using the See more icon.

• Payment Readiness – A new column, Threshold Breached, was added to the Payment Readiness grid. The column shows if a loaded invoice has broken a rule or condition set up by Cimpl. The column shows the following statuses: OK, Stop Payment, Warning. The column provides an at-a-glance analysis indicating if the invoice should be paid or further intervention is needed. The threshold rule needs to be defined by Cimpl, contact cimpl-support@uplandsoftware.com to learn more or enable the rule.

• My User Statements – The Activity tab now displays Invoice Accuracy activity. An entry for Invoice Accuracy Confirmation is listed on the tab.

• Quotation Center – A PDF version of the accepted proposal can now be added to the resulting workorder. A user can select to include the PDF file when they complete the Convert to Workorder action.

• Provider Portal: Quotation Center – Providers can now edit proposals that have the status of Provider Recall.

• Provider Portal: Quotation Center – Service Attributes is now an available filter for quotes and proposals.

• Miscellaneous UI Updates:

  • All status in Cimpl have been updated to follow the same format and coloring guidelines.

  • Updated pop-ups, tabs, and drop-downs to follow Upland UI guidelines.
