Add and Manage Funding Categories

Funding Category is a repository of possible funding sources which can be applied to the Financial Plan of a project. Funding sources are those groups or factions within or external to an organization which may be supplying funds to a project.

To add a new funding category

  1. On the left icon bar, click the Administration icon .
    The Administration page is displayed.

  1. Under Financial, click Funding Categories.
    The Financial Funding Categories page is displayed.

  1. Click Edit.

  1. Click Add New.
    A new row is displayed below.

  1. In the Name field, type the new funding category required.
  2. In the Description field, type the description for the new funding category if needed.

  1. Click Save.

 

To edit a funding category

  1. On the left icon bar, click the Administration icon .
    The Administration page is displayed.

  1. Under Financial, click Funding Categories.
    The Financial Funding Categories page is displayed.

  1. Click Edit.

  1. Double-click in the field required to edit.

  1. Click Save.

 

To delete a funding category

  1. On the left icon bar, click the Administration icon .
    The Administration page is displayed.

  1. Under Financial, click Funding Categories.
    The Financial Funding Categories page is displayed.

  1. Click the Delete icon to delete the required funding category.

  1. Click Yes to confirm deleting the category required.

  1. The selected funding category is deleted successfully.
