Add and Manage Funding Categories
Funding Category is a repository of possible funding sources which can be applied to the Financial Plan of a project. Funding sources are those groups or factions within or external to an organization which may be supplying funds to a project.
To add a new funding category
- On the left icon bar, click the Administration icon .
The Administration page is displayed.
- Under Financial, click Funding Categories.
The Financial Funding Categories page is displayed.
- Click Edit.
- Click Add New.
A new row is displayed below.
- In the Name field, type the new funding category required.
- In the Description field, type the description for the new funding category if needed.
- Click Save.
To edit a funding category
- On the left icon bar, click the Administration icon .
The Administration page is displayed.
- Under Financial, click Funding Categories.
The Financial Funding Categories page is displayed.
- Click Edit.
- Double-click in the field required to edit.
- Click Save.
To delete a funding category
- On the left icon bar, click the Administration icon .
The Administration page is displayed.
- Under Financial, click Funding Categories.
The Financial Funding Categories page is displayed.
- Click the Delete icon to delete the required funding category.
- Click Yes to confirm deleting the category required.
- The selected funding category is deleted successfully.
