2021R1.2 Resolved Issues
The 2021R1.2 version of Eclipse PPM will be deployed on July 17th, 2021. This minor release will address the following high-priority customer bugs.
Portfolios
-
An error prevented customers from adding new Portfolios. Once a new Portfolio was added to the "Project Portfolios" hierarchy, clicking the Save button would result in the following error message, which has nothing to do with adding a new Portfolio:
Upon navigating away from the Portfolio page and returning, the new Portfolio would no longer be in the hierarchy. This error has been fixed and new Portfolios can once again be created.
Reports
-
An error added a "1" to Project Property dates in report outputs. Additionally, the dates in the report output would be early by one day (for example, a "Kickoff Date" of 6/7/2021 would be presented as "6/6/2021 1" in a report output). An initial fix was able to remove the "1," but the report output still displayed dates that were a day early. This error has been resolved and Project Property dates now display the correct date without the additional "1".
Timesheets
-
An issue prevented Timesheet entries from sorting themselves alphabetically (as they should by default). This error was accidentally introduced in the latest release, so it was experienced by many users. It has been resolved and entries are once again sorted alphabetically.
-
An error caused the "Total Actual Effort" of a Resource to appear differently in a report output than it did in the actual Timesheet. Once certain reports were run, the total hours worked for some Resources were doubled without prompt. Reports are now working as expected and "Total Actual Effort" values are no longer being unnecessarily doubled.
-
An error redirected users to the Eclipse PPM Home page when they clicked on the
button of either a Timesheet or the Resource Management portal. When the
button is clicked, the browser tab of the Timesheet or Resource Management portal should automatically close; instead, users were left with two open tabs carrying Eclipse PPM. This error has been fixed and the
button once again closes the browser tab.
Users
-
A bug allowed inactive users to leave comments on tasks that were assigned to them. Inactive users do not have a license to use Eclipse PPM; when tasks are assigned to them, they are only notified by email. This bug included the option to "Add a comment to this task in Eclipse" within the email, which inactive users could use to leave a comment on the task that would then appear in Eclipse PPM. This bug has been resolved and inactive users can no longer leave comments on tasks.
