Work Plan Resources and Assignments

Eclipse users can easily add resources to any work planner and assign tasks to them. They can also perform several management and tracking activities to speed up and enhance the resource allocation process.

Through Eclipse work planner, project managers can:

• Add an existing resource, whether named or generic, to the work planner.
• Assign the added resources to the project tasks.
• Apply the appropriate rate to each assignment.
• Remove any resource from being assigned to a specific task, or from the entire work planner, whenever required.
• View the workload of any resource whether across the entire plan or in a specific task.
• View the detailed time of any resource.
• Substitute a resource with another across the entire work plan.
• Substitute a resource with another on a specific task.
