Project Link control
The project link control can be used when you want users to select from a list of key values from a linked project. For example, on the job application form pictured below, the Position list will populate the list of available jobs from the linked Open Positions project.
Properties
Once a project link control has been added to a form, you can configure it using the options on the Properties tab.
Required: Makes the project link field mandatory.
Read-only: The project link field will be non-editable when a user is viewing the form.
ID: The project link control ID. The ID is automatically assigned when a project link control is added to a form. The value of this field cannot be edited.
Name: A name for the project link control. This name is used to identify the project link control in other forms. You cannot edit the name of a project link field if it is mapped to an index field.
Display Name: A name that will be displayed for the project link field in other areas of FileBound.
Project: The project whose key values or key visual values will display in the project link drop-down. If the key visual field is not specified for the project, the values of the key field will be displayed.
Field Mapping: Select an index field from this list in order to map the project link control to the field.
Tab Order: The sequence in which a field will be selected when Tab is pressed. For example, if the tab order for a field is set to 3, when Tab is pressed for the third time, that field will be selected.
Edit Rules: Opens the Edit Rules window where you can configure conditional rules for the control. See Conditional rules for more information.
