Rating Scale control

A rating scale control is a group of radio buttons that a user can select in response to a question. This can be used to analyze the answers to questions, to see if people are satisfied or dissatisfied. A rating scale control is mainly used to conduct surveys and get feedback from users.

Properties

Once a rating scale control has been added to a form, you can configure it using the options on the Properties tab.

Required Field: Makes the rating scale field mandatory.

ID: The rating scale control ID. The ID is automatically assigned when a rating scale control is added to a form. The value of this field cannot be edited.

Configure: Opens the Edit: Rating Scale window where you can configure the rating scale control.

Edit Rules: Opens the Edit Rules window where you can configure conditional rules for the control. See Conditional rules for more information.

Configure a rating scale control

  1. Under the Properties tab, click Configure.

  2. In the Questions section, edit the default question or type a new question, then click Add.

    Click Delete next to a question to remove it from the rating scale.

  3. In the Choices section, add or remove rating scale choices as necessary.
  4. Rearrange questions and choices to display them in a specific order. Click the double-headed arrow next to a question or choice and move it to the desired location using a drag-and-drop operation.

  5. Click Save.
