What is a Template?
Templates are mainly used for indexing documents that have similar format and contain same type of data in the same locations. You can use multiple templates, to automatically identify different types of documents or forms that have been scanned or imported into FileBound.
Following are the prerequisites and result for using templating:
- OCR must be licensed on the PC running FileBound.
- A template, or set of zones, must be created and stored within FileBound to identify the locations of index fields.
