Data Errors Report

The Data Errors Report gives Administrators information about data errors in the database and allows them to be corrected. Data errors can occur when the field type of an index field changes after files have already been indexed. Data errors include non-dates or dates in a format other than database culture in date type fields and non-numeric entries in numeric type fields. Data errors can be searched for by project and index field name.

Note: If you suspect data errors exist on both date and numeric fields, you must fix date fields first and then numeric fields.

  1. On the Navigation menu, click Administration, then click System Errors.
  2. Click Data Errors.
  3. Select a project from the Project list.
  4. Select an index field from the Field Name list. Only date and numeric type fields will be listed.

  5. Click Search.
  6. In the Correct Value column, make any necessary database value corrections.
