Install the Windows Viewer Launcher

The FileBound Viewer Launcher must be installed on the computer that you are using to access the Viewer. If the FileBound Viewer Launcher is not installed, then a dialog box displays relevant messages when you try to view a document for a file. You will need to have the proper rights to install an executable file on the computer that you are using. If the installation fails please contact a network System Administrator.

The first time you click a link to launch the document viewer to view a document you will be prompted to install the FileBound Viewer Launcher. Once the FileBound Viewer Launcher is installed you will not be prompted again when trying to view a document.

Note: If you are a System Administrator you will also be prompted to install the Viewer Launcher when you try to launch the FileBound Central Administration console for the first time before trying to view a document in the Viewer.
  1. In the header, hover over your name, then click Preferences.
  2. Click Install Windows Viewer.

  3. Click Install Viewer.

  4. Accept the license agreement, then click Next.
  5. Click Next.
  6. Click Install.
  7. When the Windows Viewer is done installing, click Finish.
