Translate Document stencil
The Translate Document stencil is used to translate a document from one language to another using machine translation. The translated document will replace the original document in the workflow.
Tip: This stencil will translate up to 20 pages at a time. You may need to use the separation stencil in conjunction with the Translate Document stencil in order to translate documents over this limit.
Note: Each document that is processed through this workflow stencil will decrement your page count license by the number of pages displayed.
Available connections
There are two outgoing connections from a Translate Document stencil: green if the translation was successful and red if the translation failed.
Configuration
- To access stencil properties, double-click a Translate Document stencil. Or, right-click a Translate Document stencil and select Properties.
- Select the original language from the Source Language drop-down list. Or, select Automatically Detect to allow the stencil to automatically detect the original language on the document.

Select the language you want the document to be translated into from the Target Language drop-down list.
