Translate Document stencil

The Translate Document stencil is used to translate a document from one language to another using machine translation. The translated document will replace the original document in the workflow.

Tip: Only horizontal text can be translated. You may want to use the Image Processing stencil in your workflow with the Auto-rotate image option selected to make sure your documents are in the correct orientation.

Note: Each document that is processed through this workflow stencil will decrement your page count license by the number of pages displayed.

Available connections

There are two outgoing connections from a Translate Document stencil: green if the translation was successful and red if the translation failed.

Configuration

  1. To access stencil properties, double-click a Translate Document stencil. Or, right-click a Translate Document stencil and select Properties.
  2. Select the original language from the Source Language drop-down list. Or, select Automatically Detect to allow the stencil to automatically detect the original language on the document.
  3. Select the language you want the document to be translated into from the Target Language drop-down list.

  4. Click Save.
