Fax stencil

The Fax stencil will send routed documents to a configured CloudFAX account.

Available connections

There are two outgoing connections from a Fax stencil: green if the outgoing fax to the CloudFAX account was successful and red if the outgoing fax failed.

Configuration

  1. To access stencil properties, double-click a Fax stencil. Or, right-click a Fax stencil and select Properties.
  2. Configure the stencil, then click Save.

    Username: The username used to access the CloudFAX account that documents will be sent to.

    Password: The password used to access the CloudFAX account that documents will be sent to.

    Click Test Connection to ensure that the connection is configured properly.

    Fax Number: The fax number to send documents to. This field supports data field substitution.

    CSID: The Calling Station Identifier. This is the identifier set on the destination fax machine. This field supports data field substitution.

    Retry Count: The number of attempts to perform in case of fax transmission failure.

    Resolution: The resolution for outgoing faxes.

    Top Line: Text that will be included at the top of your outgoing fax pages by default. This field supports data field substitution.

    Scaling: Determines whether documents are scaled to page or not when faxed.

    Rendering: Determines whether documents are rendered in black and white (BW) or greyscale when faxed.
