Set Up Crowdsourcing
Crowdsourcing lets you gather ideas from both Kapost members and non-licensed collaborators, referred to as source users. This can be done using either crowdsourcing forms or emails, making the process accessible and flexible. You can gather two types of ideas:
For content ideas, users can submit content ideas for specific content types via crowdsourcing forms or emails. Each content type has a unique URL and email address, shared by a Kapost member for submissions. For initiative ideas, users can submit their ideas through email. Each initiative type has a specific email address, which can be shared with users who will be submitting ideas.
Note: The crowdsourcing forms are applicable only for content ideas. Initiative ideas can be submitted only via email.
To learn more about crowdsourcing forms, refer to Crowdsourcing Form Process.
When a content idea is submitted through the crowdsourcing form or email, it flows directly into the Idea Catalog of your Kapost instance, where it can be approved or rejected before initiating the content creation process. Similarly, when an initiative idea is submitted through email, it appears in the Idea Catalog of your Kapost instance, where it can be approved or rejected before initiating the initiative creation process.
The non-licensed submitter will appear as a Source member within the members list. They cannot log into Kapost nor can they see other's ideas or content/initiative but they can view their submitted ideas through the email notification, refer to Ideas Loop.
To learn more about idea approval or rejection process, refer to Approve or Reject an Idea.
