Welcome to OL Connect 2024.2
OL Connect is a series of tools designed to optimize and automate customer communications management. They work together to improve the creation, distribution, interaction and maintenance of your communications.
Design
The OL Connect Designer allows you to design:
-
output for print, email and web within a single template (see Designer basics)
-
data mapping configurations to extract data from a data source and convert it into a format that can be shared between different templates (see DataMapper basics)

print presets - job presets and output presets - that are applied outside the design phase, making template printing independent of the device (see Print Presets).
The Designer's interface is easy to use. More advanced users may use native HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
Automate
OL Connect includes a process automation server, called Workflow. Workflow is a tool to automate the processing, distribution and printing of your business documents. It is also capable of servicing response form web pages and email to provide interactive business communications. For a brief description of the most common Workflow processes in OL Connect projects, see Workflow processes in OL Connect projects.

Meanwhile, another automation tool is in the making: OL Connect Automate. OL Connect Automate adds a range of nodes to the Node-RED palette, allowing Node-RED to communicate with the OL Connect server and access the OL Connect Database and File Store, or perform common tasks in OL Connect solutions.
Capture OnTheGo
OL Connect can create documents for tablets and mobile devices that run a free Capture OnTheGo App. Users with a Capture OnTheGo subscription can then download documents to their own devices, interact with them and send the captured data back to OL Connect for conversion into additional documents or workflows.
