Disabling tasks and branches
PReS Workflow lets you ignore individual tasks, branches or conditions.
- When a task is disabled, it is not executed when the process is run in Debug mode (see Debugging your PReS Workflow process) or by the PReS Workflow Service.
- When a branch is disabled, the whole branch including the tasks inside that branch is ignored and not executed. In the case of conditional branches, this means that the tasks appearing on the True side are not executed.
A task, branch or condition that was previously disabled out can be re-enabled at any time.
To disable or enable a task or branch:
- In the PReS Workflow Process area, click the icon of a task or branch.
- From the Debug tab in the Ribbon, click Ignore. If the task or branch was enabled, it is now disabled, and vice versa.
