Pick Parameters

The Pick Parameters define how to pick entities retrieved from the Connect Database using the Retrieve Items task and place them together in Documents or Groups. Items are picked using either Properties or Values.

• Name: Enter the name of the Property or Value that will be used to pick items.
• Type: Use the drop-down to select whether the name refers to a Property or a Value.
• Add: Click to add a new line to the list.
• Remove: Click to remove the currently selected line in the list.
• Move Up: Click to move the currently selected line up one position in the list.
• Move Down: Click to move the currently selected line down one position in the list.
• Validate Names: Click to check the each of line in the list against the currently active Metadata (see Metadata). Metadata must be loaded in The Data Selector or through the use of the Debugging feature.
