The latest version of PrintShop Mail is currently 7.1. This documentation was updated on 2011-03-29 and covers the changes made in this version. If you are still using an older version of PrintShop Mail, you can access its documentation by using the Version: menu at the top-right corner of this screen.

If you wish to upgrade to PrintShop Mail7.1, you can do so via the Upgrade Request page. Note that in order to upgrade, you will need a valid OL Care contract as of 2010-09.

Printing a Document

Before you do the actual printing, PrintShop Mail offers different ways to optimize your output, allowing you to select how many pages or records you want to print. Additionally, you may wish to print the currently selected record, or proof your document in PDF format before printing. To do this, click on the File menu and select Print to open the Print Dialog.

When printing through PrintShop Mail Design, the following options will be available to you:

If you use the options "Store forms on printer's hard disk" or "Custom cache size", and the RIP is password protected you might get a printer error. Consult the RIP manual or consult the system administrator to change the settings on the RIP.

Print Technology Options

These options are available in one or more print technologies, as indicated.
