2025R1.1 - Resolved Issues
Below is a summary of the main issues addressed by this release. Individual customer cases will be updated by the Support team through the portal. Cases will be closed out with customers upon confirmation that the issue has been resolved to your satisfaction.
Note: This page may be updated as new information becomes available.
The resolved issues in this release fall under the following categories:
General

PowerSteering production sites were unresponsive for a period of time.
This occurred because the application server reached the maximum amount of configured requests, rendering it unable to respond to any new ones. This was caused by an internal thread blockage involving a very long running report query database connection that failed cancel. This stuck thread also prevented the connection pool from acquiring new connections.
This issue has been fixed; additional logs and monitoring tools have been implemented to prevent this from happening again.
Metrics

The Metric Bulk Actions page suffered from long load times when users created and ran Metric Bulk Action jobs. Creating a new job would result in users waiting over an hour after selecting a Portfolio.
This issue has been resolved; the Metric Bulk Actions page once again load immediately after users select a Portfolio.
Reporting

An issue caused PowerSteering reports to take over 5 minutes to be downloaded. Additionally, opening reports with Microsoft Excel would display an error that claimed the report content contained a problem.
This issue has been fixed; reports can once again be downloaded without causing errors in Microsoft Excel.

A bug caused multiple Data Extracts to expire too early. Additionally, the schedules of these Data Extracts were erased; they were all given frequencies of "Never".
This bug has been fixed; Data Extracts will no longer expire early and schedules will no longer be affected.
Search

A bug prevented the PowerSteering search bar and Advanced Search from returning any search results. Attempting to search for an entity in PowerSteering resulted in an error that displayed the following message:
"Problem occurred: Search is currently re-indexing, please try again later."
This bug has been fixed; users can once again use the PowerSteering search function.
Tags and Custom Fields

A Tag Dependency bug caused certain Tags to appear outside of the dependency rules. Tags that were dependent on values of other Tags would still appear even when those values were not selected.
In a Tag Dependency, certain Tags are only expected to be visible and editable when specific values of another Tag are already selected. This bug caused the dependent Tags to appear regardless of the selected value, which defeats the purpose of Tag Dependencies.
This bug has been fixed; dependent Tags will no longer be displayed when the values they depend on have not been selected.

A bug prevented certain selected hierarchical Tag values from appearing in the user interface. While editing the Tag values, the Tags would appear selected. Once the values were saved, however, not all of them would be displayed.
This bug occurred specifically when a parent value was selected on a hierarchical Tag. When this occurred, only child values that belonged to the parent value would be displayed. Child values that belonged to a different, unselected parent value in the hierarchical Tag would not be displayed.
This bug has been fixed; the PowerSteering user interface will once again display all selected hierarchical Tag values.

Prior to this release, users were able to select locked values for Tags by using the PowerSteering REST API. Locked Tag values should not be selectable at all in PowerSteering; there is no way for users to select them through the interface.
This issue has been fixed; the REST API can no longer be used to select locked Tag values. Attempting to select a locked value through the API will result in an error and the update will fail.
Timesheets

A bug caused the Manage Time page to display incorrect time entries. When users submitted their Timesheet hours towards a work item for a specific day, the Manage Time page would not always accurately display the correct values. Timesheet reports would also display these incorrect values.
This issue has been fixed; the Manage Time page (as well as Timesheet reports) will no longer display inaccurate Timesheet submissions.

Users experienced long wait times while using the new Manage Time page interface. The page would take multiple minutes to load Timesheets. This page should never take more than a minute to load.
This issue has been fixed; the new Manage Time page interface will no longer suffer from long loading times.

A bug prevented users from selecting Activities on Timesheet entries. Opening a drop-down menu in the "Activity" column would display a "No results found" message even though Activities were expected to be available.
This bug has been fixed; users can once again select Activities while entering time on their Timesheets.
Upland Analytics

An issue prevented PowerSteering users from downloading their Upland Analytics reports. The download process would continue to exceed the timeout limit. preventing any successful downloads.
This issue has been fixed; Upland Analytics reports will once again download without consistent timeouts.
