The Icon Bar
The Icon Bar is at the far left side of the page and contains buttons to represent different functions within the product. The selection of a specific button will drive the Navigation Menu that appears.
Note: The buttons and menu selections available in your Icon Bar and Navigation Menu will depend on your PowerSteering permission settings. For example, only PowerSteering administrators will be able to see and select the Admin button.
Tip: Select the Horizontal Lines icon to expand the Icon Bar and display the names of each button.
a. Home: Selecting this button takes you to your Home page. Scrolling over the button will open up a Navigation Menu that allows you to Configure the Home page.
b. Add: Selecting this button will open up a Navigation Menu that allows you to create new entities in PowerSteering (Projects, Requests, Reports, Users, etc.).
c. Review: Selecting this button will open up a Navigation Menu that allows you to view entities in PowerSteering (Dashboards, Portfolios, Users, Reports, etc.). You can also access the Import and Export functions from this Navigation Menu. For more information on these functions, see Reviewing Data.
d. Admin: Selecting this button will open up a Navigation Menu that allows PowerSteering administrators to access their Administrator functions. For more information on these functions, see Administration.
e. Project: Selecting this button will automatically bring you to the last Work Item you visited in PowerSteering. Scrolling over the button will open up a Navigation Menu that allows you to access different components of the Work Item (Project Central, Measures, Metrics, Documents, Action Items, etc.)
f. Favorites: Selecting this button will allow you to create shortcuts for your most frequently used pages. For more information, see Favorites.
g. History: Select this button to view and manage pages that you have recently visited in PowerSteering. For more information, see History.
h. Important Links: Select this button to view important links that have been configured by your Administrator. For more information, see Important Links.
i. Analytics: Select this button to visit Upland Analytics in PowerSteering. For more information, see Upland Analytics.
