captureRisks Overview

A Risk is a potential event or condition that, if it occurs, may have an impact on the achievement of the work item's objectives. Examples of Risks can be financial (cost underestimations, funding issues, etc.), Resource-based (shortages, skill gaps, etc.), stakeholder-based (differing expectations, resistance to change, etc.), and operational (schedule delays, technology failures, etc.), just to name a few.

PowerSteering enables users to effectively implement Risk management strategies though Risk assessment, mitigation plans, and Action Items.

Note: Administrators can configure overall Risk settings in PowerSteering. See Risk Configuration for more details.
