Expense

This allows the option to define whether the expense markup is calculated on the expense net amount or on the gross amount, as well define whether the markup amount is taxable. This added feature provides the user control in how markup is to be calculated and whether it should or should not be taxed.

The expense receipts preview page has been enhanced to clearly outline the different sections and to include additional information regarding the entries.

This allows the uploading of expense receipts in TIFF format (Tag Image File Format), denoted by the .TIFF extension, in addition to the other formats that are currently accepted.
Financials

As Intuit announced a change in technology, the dated SDK is, consequently, no longer supported, and has been replaced by web-services. To bar Tenrox Clients from losing any current integration capabilities, the Tenrox-QuickBooks Online integration, using the new IPP published by Intuit, has been implemented.
All existing features have been ported over using the new technology. Moreover, the integration is now supported on non-IE browsers, making it a multi-browser feature.
The QuickBooks Online integration allows Tenrox clients to export financial information from Tenrox to QuickBooks Online AR and AP, as well allows importing items for easy configuration.

This option allows suspending a tax group when the tax percentages are no longer valid, while still maintaining historical data and preventing selection of invalid tax groups for entries.
Upon suspending the tax group, there is the ability to automatically replace that tax group with the new one for any existing associations, which eliminates the need to individually edit and update each associated item.

This automates inclusion of expense receipts in the associated invoice as part of the preview and print out of the invoice documents. This simplifies the process of providing customers with all the proper invoice documentation now accessible from a single location.

Mauritius is now included in the system country listing, along with its provinces and associated currency code.
Infrastructure / Performance

It now takes significantly less time to search, sort and navigate through the records in the following tables for adding, editing or deleting items or entries.
- Expense Report (My Expense Report, Work List and Administrator)
- Timesheet Manager
- Invoice Manager
- Multi Client Invoice Manager
- Charge Entry and Approval
- Product Entry and Approval
- Users List
Note: This improvement does impact you, if you are a Timesheet Administrator, in that you must set a Search criteria to view a list of timesheets, as blank searches or the ability to list all timesheets are no longer available.

Various improvements have been made to the performance, architecture and overall stability of the entire application, resulting in increased speed and upgraded functioning. These enhancements are the stepping stones towards introducing new cutting edge features into the application.
- Implemented Web Optimization Framework to optimize page load times as well as add versioning to each file to remove the requirement of clearing clientside application cache during any change to the application (hotfix, service pack, upgrade).
- Enhanced the Object browse fields to no longer use legacy code to improve performance.
- Implemented ability to trigger automation services on-demand from the interface.

This feature adds back-end functionality as a first step towards rolling out the One Upland framework, allowing for event-driven notifications to be sent from the Tenrox application in order for other Upland applications to use the event and perform an action within that application. This is the stepping stone towards Upland offering, and clients being able to take advantage, of a full Upland suite of applications through a seamless integration.
This feature is available upon request. Customers that are currently leveraging Tenrox and one or more Upland system(s) can now gain from this if they would like to have data flow between Tenrox and those systems.
Organizational Breakdown Structure (OBS)

This allows customers to define periodical utilization targets for users and groups, permitting management to assess productivity by comparing a given user's or group's actual utilization against the defined targets. This replaces the use of the user defined fields for this purpose.
Reports and Dashboards

Analytics is a new addition to the existing line of reporting capabilities, an ad-hoc reporting tool with a great deal of flexibility, including the following:
- Ability to connect multiple Data Sources
- Ability to create multiple charts, gauges and maps
- Drill-in / sub-reports
This allows for more intricate reporting, such as the ability to join views, and capturing both detailed and summary information in one report. In addition, there are a number of out-of-the-box reports available.
This new tool permits self-serve reporting, facilitates the creation of reports and dashboards with impressive charting capabilities.

The following leave time measures have been added and are now included in the OLAP cube:
- Total Leave Time Hours
- Approved Leave Time Hours
- Payable Leave Time Hours
- Non Payable Leave Time Hours
- Paid Leave Time Hours
Resource Planning

This feature includes changes to the Resource Management module to modify existing configuration options, improve performance and add to the overall functionality.
- Optimized load times within the Resource Planning module
- Added ability to collapse all bookings within view definition
- Enhanced the ability to define the range of a view
- Implemented clientside paging to resources within Resource Planning grid
- Implemented quick search for Resources
Timesheet

This feature now adds the User name to the Timesheet Reminder email to complete or approve Timesheets.
