What's new in this 2015 R1 version?
This article covers the new or upgraded features included in this 2015 R1 release.
Project Status Reporting
Allows Project and Portfolio Managers to track the status of their projects through configurable forms and Key Performance Indicators (KPI's). Updates are time stamped and with powerful analytics users can see how projects are trending. The
module allows the user to create status entries for a project including:
- Time Phased Project Status Reporting
- Fully configurable status page allowing customers to completely customize their Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Trending Reports on the Project Status
- Ability to lock reporting periods and archive historical Status updates.
- Track late updates of those who report to you (Group / Portfolio)
- Archiving of past entries for faster performance and a cleaner User Interface (UI)
The screenshot above shows the Project Status page, where status updates can be made and managed.
Product Central
Allows the creation of product entry rules, facilitating the:
- Controlling of the number of units for a given product entered against a task for a specified price
- Reporting on consumed & remaining quantity and amount for each rule
Allows for the creation and approval of product entries.
These Product Central capabilities in turn allows:
- Forecasting the quantity of items to bill ensuring no revenue leakage due to unbilled entries.
- Billing of recurring entries facilitating quick invoice and revenue recognition.

Upland Analytics Enhancements
Visualization
- Addition of a brand new visualization layer allows people to create impressive looking reports.

Financial Planner Enhancements
The following are the enhancements to the Financial Planner Module.
Addition of Forecast Cost and Billing Rules on Project Team
Added the Forecast Cost and Billing Rules columns on the Project Team
- Easy editing of the forecast rates rules for Users and Roles
- Displays the current rate rule being applied on the Project

Enhanced Financial Planner View Options
Enhanced View Options:
- Billable Time row and Billable POC (Percentage of completion) row have been added to the Time Section
- Forecast Revenue using Billable POC or Total POC on a project
