Audit Changes to Work Item Workflows

The Work Item Workflow and Work Item Workflow Rename Audit Trail options available under the Setup > Work menu of the Audit Trail (Setup > Organization > System > Security > Audit Setup) allows you to track changes made to the Work Item Workflows.

This article details how to set up auditing for changes made to Work Item Workflows using the Work Item Workflow and Workflow Rename Audit Trail options. Track workflow modifications for better oversight.

1. From the Icon Bar click Setup .
2. From the Navigation Menu click Organization.
3. From the menu click System.
4. From the System page click the Security button to access the Security setup page.
5. From the Security page click the Audit Trail button to open the Audit Setup page.
6. From the navigation, click Work located under the Setup category.
7. Select the Insert, Update, Delete, Suspend and/or Unsuspend selection box(es) for the Work Item Workflow Event Type to enable the auditing of changes made to the Work Item Workflows.
8. Select the Update, selection box for the Work Item Workflow Rename Event Type to enable the auditing of renaming of Work Item Workflows.

   

9. Click Save Changes to save the changes you have made.
10. Click Back to return to the Security page.
11. Impact of your change:
    1. Changes made to the Work Item Workflows are tracked and available in the Audit Trail.
    2. The renaming of Work Item Workflows are tracked and available in the Audit Trail.
