Set Access Rights for Project Tabs

The Project Tab Security feature enables you to manage access rights to specific project tabs based on security profiles. This functionality allows you to hide or lock certain tabs, ensuring that only authorized users can view or modify them. You can maintain control over sensitive information and streamline user access, enhancing the overall security and efficiency of your project management process.

  1. From the Icon Bar click Setup .
  2. From the Navigation Menu click Organization.
  3. From the menu click System.
  4. From the System page click the Security button to access the Security setup page.
  5. Click the expand button () located against a User Security Role Placeholder, if applicable to view the available Security Roles.
  6. Select a Security Profile.
  7. From the More... context menu select Tab Security to access the Tab Security page.

  8. Select or clear the box(es) of the Project tab to Lock/Hide.

    1. Select the Lock box for a given option to lock the corresponding page.
    2. Select the Hidden box for a given option to hide the corresponding tab/link or menu option.
  9. Click the Back link.

Note: Choosing any of the options will result in an automatic saving of the chosen setting.
