Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) Setup

The Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) setup involves establishing projects, work types, and tasks carried out by an organization's employees. Administrators can efficiently organize the work structure that is used by all the users in an organization. Once configured correctly, the system monitors time and expenses associated with particular projects. A streamlined setup also simplifies the process of generating reports.

Users are assigned rights to the PSA features; however, administrators are responsible for the configuration of the system, which includes the organization of the Work Breakdown Structure for an organization.

In some cases, managers or project managers may have some rights when it comes to creating Tasks or Projects; but generally, it is the duty of the administrator to keep a tab on this type of high-level setup.
