Work Item Entries

You can use different types of Work Items powered by different Workflows to track various types of work—such as user stories or product backlog items, tasks, bugs, or issues. You can describe the work to be done, assign work, track status, and coordinate efforts within your team.

The creation and management of the Issues, Risks and Action Items for Projects is now accessible from the Work Items tab of Project Edit, improving collaboration among Project Team members.

The articles within the section will help guide you through the process of creatig and managing Work Item Entries.

Security Components associated with Work Items

The security and access control permissions of the Work Items can be managed through:

  • Tab Security
  • Security Profile
  • Work Items Audit Trail

Note: User(s) assigned to the current State of the Work Item can modify the Work Item Entry. If you require your Project Team members to be able to modify Work Item Entries in a given State you can create a new Assignment Rule and assign the State to Project team members.
