Organization Data Source and related views

The Organization Data Source allows you to create comprehensive reports on organizational structure, User Group affiliations, and role-based access across the system. Using the available Views, you can build reports to analyze how individuals are assigned within the organization through Functional Groups, Resource and Approval Group hierarchies, Roles, Business Units, Calendars, and Security access rights. This data source is ideal for audits, user management, and validating governance structures across approval workflows, resource planning, and security configurations.

This article lists all the Fields available for each View currently supported under the Organization Data Source in Upland Analytics.

When creating a report, select this data source to access the Views described below. Click any View name to see its available Fields and descriptions.

Active Site

Field Name Description Type
Active Site This is the Name of the User's Active Site.
Active Site Id This is the Id of the User's Active Site.

Approval Alternate Group Manager

Field Name Description Type
Approval Alternate Group Manager First Name This is the alternate Approval Group Manager First name.

Approval Group Approvers

Business Unit User Associations

Field Name Description Type
User Associations Association End Date This is the End Date of the User's association to the Business Unit.
User Associations Association Start Date This is the Start Date of the User's association to the Business Unit.
User Associations Business Unit This is the Name of the Business Unit.
User Associations Business Unit Id This is the Id of the Business Unit.
User Associations Business Unit Is Active This indicates if the Business Unit is Active (1) or not (0).
User Associations Is Default This indicates if this is the Default Business Unit for this User (1) or not(1).

Functional Alternate Group Manager

User Date Created This is the date and time when the User account was created.

User Gender This is the User Gender.
User Hire Date This is the Hire Date of the User.

User Is Decommissioned This defines whether the User is Decommissioned. This will show 0 (for not decommissioned) or 1 (for decommissioned).
User Is Suspended This defines whether the User is Suspended. This will show 0 (for not suspended) or 1 (for suspended).
User Language This is the Language of the User.
User Last Evaluation Date This is the Last Evaluation Date of the User.
User Last Login Date This is the date and time when the User last logged into the system.
User Last Name This is the Last Name of the User.
User Logon Name This is the Logon Name of the User
User Mobile This is the Mobile phone number of the User.
User Name This is the User Name (Last Name, First Name).
User Next Evaluation Date This is the Next Evaluation Date of the User.
User Out Of The Office This is the Out Of Office status of a User (Yes/No)
User Pager This is the Pager number of the User.
User Payable Segment Code This is the Payable Segment Code of the User.
User Payable Account This is the Payable Account of the User.
User Payment Method This is the Default Payment Method of the User.
User Primary Role This is the Primary Role of the User.
User Receivable Segment Code This is the Receivable Segment Code of the User.

User Resource Type This is the name of the (current) Resource Type.
User Resource Type Id This is the Id of the (current) Resource Type.
User Security Role This is the Security Role of the User.
User Service Date This is the Service Date of the User.
User Termination Date This is the Termination Date of the User.
User Title This is the Title of the User.
User Type This is the Type of the User.

Note: User Date Modified refers to the date when any changes are made to the User properties found in the Details tab, including its General, Personal, and Security sub-tabs. Modifications can include entering or selecting a new value for a field, updating, or deleting an existing value. This also covers changes made to associated User Defined Fields within the Details tab and its sub-tabs. It is noteworthy to mention that the User Date Modified fields are also triggered when a User Profile is saved without any modifications.

User Approval Group

User Associated Calendar

User Calendar is Current This indicates if this is the Default Calendar for the User (Yes) or not (No).

User Company
