Project Entry Details Data Source and related views

The Project Entry Details Data Source allows you to create detailed reports on project-related time and financial entries. Using the available Views, you can analyze data by Project, Client, Program, Task, and User, with support for multiple currency types. It includes both entry-level and summary-level reporting options, making it useful for auditing project efforts, monitoring work types, and understanding contributions by team members or departments. Scoping filters help tailor reports to relevant projects, portfolios, programs, or client contacts.

This article lists all the Fields available for each View currently supported under the Project Entry Details Data Source in Upland Analytics.

When creating a report, select this data source to access the Views described below. Click any View name to see its available Fields and descriptions.

Alternate Project Manager

Client Fax This is the Fax number of the Client.
Client Fiscal End Date This is the Fiscal End Date of the Client (as defined on the CRM tab of Client Edit).
Client Id This is the Id of the Client.
Client Industry This is the Industry of the Client (as defined on the CRM tab of Client Edit).
Client Invoice Issuer Contact First Name This is the first name of the Issuer contact of the Client.
Client Invoice Issuer Contact Last Name This is the Last Name of the Invoice Issuer Contact of the Client.
Client Invoice To The Attn Of First Name This is the First name of the Client contact in the To the attention of field.
Client Invoice To The Attn Of Last Name This is the Last name of the Client contact in the To the attention of field.
Client Is Active This defines whether the Client is Active (Yes/No)
Client Ownership This is the Ownership of the Client (as defined on the CRM tab of Client Edit).
Client Payment Term This is the Payment Term for the Client.
Client Phone This is the Phone number of the Client.
Client Purchase This is the Purchased field of the Client (as defined on the CRM tab of Client Edit).
Client Rating This is the Rating of the Client (as defined on the CRM tab of Client Edit).
Client Reference Customer This is the Reference customer field of the Client (as defined on the CRM tab of Client Edit).
Client Referred By This is the Referred by field (as defined on the CRM tab of Client Edit).
Client Sic Code This is the SIC Code of the Client (as defined on the CRM tab of Client Edit).
Client State Province This is the State/Province of the Client.

Project Contact This will display the Project Contact Name (Last Name, First Name). If multiple Contacts exist, they will be separated by a --.
Project Date Created This is the Date and Time the Project was created on.
Project Description This is the Description of the Project.
Project End This is the End date of the Project.
Project Health This is the Health of the Project.
Project Id This is the Id of the Project.
Project Is Active This defines whether the Project is Active. This will show 0 (for Suspended) or 1 (for Active).
Project Link This is the Name of the Project with a link to the corresponding Project Edit page.

Project Parent This is the Parent Project Name of the Project.
Project Priority This is the Priority of the Project.
Project Start This is the Start date of the Project.
Project State This is the State of the Project.
Project Sum of Allocated Hours This is the sum of Allocated Hours of a Project (in hours). Measure
Project Sum of Planned Hours This is the sum of Planned work Hours of a Project (in hours). Measure

Project Entry Details

Project Entry Type This will be set to Time, Expense, Product or Charge.  
Project Entry Item Name This will be set to Expense, Charge or Product item name or adjustment Charge for time only.  
Project Entry Billable Amount in Base Curr This is the Billable Amount of the entry in the Base Currency.  
Project Entry Non Billable Amount in Base Curr This is the Non-Billable Amount of the entry in the Base Currency.  
Project Entry Payable Amount in Base Curr This is the Payable Amount of the Project Entry in the Base Currency.  
Project Entry Billed Amount in Base Curr This is the Invoiced & Posted Amount of the Project Entry in the Base Currency.  
Project Entry Unbilled Amount in Base Curr This is the Billable Amount of the Project Entry in the Base Currency that has not been invoiced and posted.  
Project Entry Total Amount in Base Curr This is the Total Amount of the Project Entry in the Base Currency. For Expense entries this should include the tax and tips and for time entries this should include the regular, overtime and double overtime Amounts.  
Project Entry Date This is the Entry Date for each entry; even when 2 entries are created against same Task/Item/Date with same Amount, 2 different rows will be displayed.  
Project Entry Billable Total Time This is the Total number of Billable Hours.  
Project Entry Non Payable Total Time This is the number of Non-Payable Total Time Hours.  
Project Entry Non Billable Total Time This is the number of Non-Billable Total Time Hours.  
Project Entry Payable Total Time This is the Total number of Payable Hours.  
Project Entry Total Time This is the Total Hours.  
Project Entry Total Time Amount This is the Total Amount in the Base Currency.  
Project Entry Is Payable This defines whether the Project Entry is Payable (Yes/No).

Note: User Date Modified refers to the date when any changes are made to the User properties found in the Details tab, including its General, Personal, and Security sub-tabs. Modifications can include entering or selecting a new value for a field, updating, or deleting an existing value. This also covers changes made to associated User Defined Fields within the Details tab and its sub-tabs. It is noteworthy to mention that the User Date Modified fields are also triggered when a User Profile is saved without any modifications.
