Creating and Assigning Tasks in Recover

When a customer sends feedback that needs you to take action, you can create a Recover task and assign it to a team member. The task will appear in their Recover tasks list for them to respond to your customer feedback and update the task with their progress.

Note: Assigning tasks requires sufficient permissions. If you need to assign tasks but do not have permission, contact your system administrator for assistance.

Assigning Tasks in Recover

If you have a role with sufficient permissions, such as Team Leader or Manager, you can assign a selected task to another user from within your team. The new assignee is automatically sent an email containing the title of the task, and who it was assigned by.

Note: The Recover settings determine the rules for assigning feedback to users.

  1. In the Recover task list, select the task you wish to assign.

  2. From the drop-down lists at the top of the page, click the assign to arrow and select a team member from the drop-down list.

    The task is automatically updated.

  3. To review, open the notes tab.

The most recent note, at the top of the list, is a system-generated note confirming the new assignee for the task.
