Enable or disable users
If you want to temporarily stop a user from logging in, for example, if they go on a long vacation, you can disable their account—you can easily re-enable it later. You can enable or disable multiple user accounts at a time.
Note: Rant & Rave administrators can't impersonate users whose accounts are disabled.
-
Open the Rant & Rave Dashboard.
-
Click the System
icon in the bottom-right, then click User management.
The User Management screen will open in a new window on a list of all users.
-
Select the checkbox next to the username of every user you want to enable/disable.
-
From the Action
dropdown select Enable user(s) or Disable user(s).
-
Click Ok.
Alternatively, you can enable or disable a user from their profile; click the user's name, then select Enable or Disable user(s) from the Action dropdown.
Tip: In the users list, users will have a colored dot next to their name which indicates whether their account is enabled (green) or disabled (red).
