Configure 'Add to KB' agentic workflow for Amazon Bedrock

The Administrator can enable/disable the AI agentic workflow for the Add to KB feature for the Amazon Bedrock model using the AIAddToKbAgenticEnabled setting. This setting helps to switch between the standard foundation model flow and the enhanced Agentic workflow for knowledge base creation.

• Setting Name: AIAddToKbAgenticEnabled

• Section Name: AI Knowledge Creation

• Description: Enables or disables the AI agentic workflow for the Add to Knowledgebase feature for the Amazon Bedrock model. 

• Default value: False (disabled)

  • When enabled, the AI model will use the Bedrock flow configurations defined in the AIAddToKbAgenticParameter setting.

  • When disabled, the assistant will continue using the default AI foundation model.

• Super Admin setting?: No

To configure the AIAddToKbAgenticEnabled setting:

1. Open the Administrator Console.

2. Click Settings > Application Settings.

3. On the Application Settings page, click and expand AI Knowledge Creation.

4. Click and expand AIAddToKbAgenticEnabled.

5. To enable the setting at the company level:

   1. Click Add near Company/Group Values

   2. Under Select Company, select the company for which you want to enable the AI agentic workflow.

   3. In Setting Value, select True.

   4. Click Save.

6. To enable the setting at the group level within a company:

   1. Click the + icon beside the company name.

   2. Under Portal Groups, select the group for which you want to enable the AI agentic workflow.

   3. In Value, select True.

   4. Click Add.

7. Click Save Setting.
