Enable real-time updates to solution counts
RightAnswers administrators can enable or disable real-time updates to solution counts by configuring the RealTimeSolutionCountIndexUpdateEnabled setting in the Application Settings console, which controls whether solution 'Views' and 'Helpful' counts update immediately or through nightly batch updates.
The Super Admin can enable/disable real-time updates to solution counts using the RealTimeSolutionCountIndexUpdateEnabled setting.

Description: Enables or disables real-time updates to solution 'Views' and 'Helpful' counts.

Default value: True (enabled)

When set to True (enabled), the solution 'Views' and 'Helpful' counts are updated in real-time.

When set to False (disabled), the updates to the solution 'Views' and 'Helpful' counts are delayed and handled by the nightly batch updates.

To configure the RealTimeSolutionCountIndexUpdateEnabled setting:
- Open the Administrator Console.

Click Settings > Application Settings.

On the Application Settings page, click and expand Search.

Click and expand RealTimeSolutionCountIndexUpdateEnabled.

To enable the setting at the company level:

Click Add near Company/Group Values

Under Select Company, select the company you want to enable the real-time updates of solution counts.

In Setting Value, select True.

Click Save.

To enable the setting at the group level within a company:

Click the + icon beside the company name.

Under Portal Groups, select the group for which you want to enable the real-time updates of solution counts.

In Value, select True.

Click Add.

Click Save Setting.
