Configure database restriction

The system setting, RestrictedSqlResources, enhances security by restricting access to specific database tables and columns. This setting defines the list of database resources (table names, column names) that are restricted from being queried via the report builder or SQL execution features. Queries to restricted resources are blocked and will display an error message.

1. Open the Administrator Console.

2. Go to Settings > Application Settings.

3. Click and expand System setting.

4. Click and expand RestrictedSqlResources.
   The Setting Value displays the list of database resources (table names, column names) that are restricted from being queried via the report builder or SQL execution features. If a user attempts to query a restricted resource, the system will block execution and display an error message.
