How do I grant access rights to the Project List with All Projects View only?
This article covers how to grant the ability to access the Project List with All Projects View only.
Version Note: The “System Projects” view has been renamed to “All Projects” as of Tenrox 2018 R1 SP8.
1. Access the System Security page
- Click Setup from the Icon Bar.
- Click Organization.
- Select System.
- Click Security button to access the Security setup page.
2. Expand User Security Role
- Select a Security Role placeholder, if applicable.
- Select a Security Role.
3. Select a Security Role
- From the list of available User Security Roles click on the Security Role you wish to edit. For the purpose of this article the Project Manager Security Role is chosen.
4. Select the Management Tab
- Upon the Security Profile page displaying, select the Management tab
5. Select The Central Subtab
- Select the Central subtab
6. Enable Project List with Central Views
- Select the option Project List with All Projects View
7. Click save
- Click Save to save your changes.
8. Click Menu Setup
- Click Menu Setup to add the Project List menu item for the User Profile.
9. Select Project List visibility
- From the Root Menu setup select Project List
- Make sure Visible option is selected.
- Click Save to save your changes and return to the Menu Setup page.
Warning: The Setup Projects list menu item can be hidden from Users by clearing the Visible option through Menu Setup for Work/Projects. When the User has the View Projects right, while the Menu is not visible, the Setup Projects page will still not display.
10. View your changes as a Project Manager
- The Project Manager User Profile now has access to the Project List and the All Projects View.
