Setting Up the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS)

The Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) setup refers to the set up of all projects, work types, tasks that are performed by the employees of the organization. The set up of the WBS relates to the set up of all projects and tasks performed by the employees of an organization. With the WBS tools, administrators can efficiently organize the work structure that is used by all the users in an organization. Once properly configured, the system tracks time and expenses according to specific projects. Efficient setup also facilitates the report generation process.
The users are assigned rights to the Tenrox features; however, administrators are responsible for the configuration of the system, which includes the organization of the Work Breakdown Structure for an organization. In some cases, managers or project managers may have some rights when it comes to creating tasks or projects; but generally, it is the duty of the administrator to keep a tab on this type of high-level setup. The Tenrox WBS tools allows users to efficiently organize the structure of work. This setup is used by all levels of users within the organization and enables versatile management of projects, tasks and resources. Once properly set up, the application tracks time and expenses according to specific projects. Efficient setup also facilitates the report generation process.
