What are the Security Profile updates associated to the Project Status capability?
To accommodate the Project Status Reporting capability, new security profile sub-tabs were created with new security profile options under each. This article details these various Security Profile updates.

Collaboration under Setup
"Collaboration" is the new security profile sub-tab under the Setup security tab, which will be used for any setup-based security options related to the Project Collaboration module. This sub-tab will only be visible if the environment has access to the Project Status license.
The "Project Status" security profile component is a new addition under the Setup > Collaboration security tab with a Yes/No option. By default, the option is selected for the Administrator security profile and cleared for all other security profiles.
Collaboration under Management
"Collaboration" is the new security profile sub-tab under the Management security tab, which will be used for any setup-based security options related to the Project Collaboration module. This sub-tab will only be visible if the environment has access to the Project Status license.
The following security profile components are new additions under the Management > Collaboration security tab:
- "Can Archive Project Status" with a Yes/No option. By default, the option is selected for the Group Manager and Administrator security profiles and cleared for all other security profiles.
- "Can Unsubmit Project Status" with a Yes/No option. By default, the option is selected for the Group Manager and Administrator security profiles and cleared for all other security profiles.
- "Project Status Entries on behalf of others"with the Modify, Create and Delete options. By default, all options are selected for the Administrator security profiles and cleared for all other security profiles.

By default, the options are selected for the Project Manager, Group Manager and Administrator security profiles and cleared for all other security profiles.
