Custom Fields
Custom fields allow for more specialized filtering of search results to help you better access content based on different variables. For a list of simple formulas, see Expression Editor.
In Analytics, you can create a date/time, text, or number custom field to use in reports.

Date/Time: Date formulas are useful for managing payment deadlines, contract ages, or any other features of your organization that are time or date dependent. Time, is independent of the date for tracking time such as business hours.

Text: You can define your own powerful text functions to meet your specific reporting requirements. Text functions can be used in several ways: they can return the number of characters in text strings, remove extra characters, return exact position within a string, and combine text from other cells.

Number: Number allows you to display numbers in a more friendly format than that found in your raw data.
