Details & Actions pane
The Details & Actions pane displays details relating to a selected document or folder.
The Details & Actions menu allows you to:

Manage the Orphans folder
The following are the menu options that are accessed via the Details & Actions drop-down menu:

Allows you to create a new document or a folder.

Used to maintain document and/or folder properties. You can change document and folder names, assign keywords and more.

Optional. A brief description of what the folder contains. This description displays when the user hovers over the folder in the folder view in Viewer Viewers are users with Read-only access to documents. They can access documents and submit feedback to editors. |
Hide in search On/Off |
Either hides or displays the folder in a search result. Note: Documents that reside within folders that are hidden from Panviva search are still included in Digital Orchestrator Digital Orchestrator coordinates complex workflows and processes involving multiple systems and stakeholders by acting as a central hub. It is the control center for integrating, automating, and optimizing digital workflows and tasks across different systems. and RAG Sidekick responses. RAG Sidekick uses all published and approved documents that users have permission to access, regardless of their search visibility settings. |

Either hides or displays the document in Panviva search results. Note: Documents hidden from Panviva search results are still included in Digital Orchestrator and RAG Sidekick responses. Used to notify users when a released document or folder has changed.

Used to apply and start manual and scheduled workflows, and view workflow status.

Used to view the history of a document.

Used to set mass permissions, properties, workflows and scheduled reviews to folders.

Used to import and export Panviva or external documents.

Used to update a document by name, overwrite content or control release of native language documents. If you have more than one Panviva database, the Merge from file option allows you to overwrite an existing document with a document from the other database.The history of the existing document will remain and the Merge information is added to the history.
Note: If you do not have multiple databases, then this is not a function you will ever need to perform.

Allows authors to set feedback recipients to a folder or document, obtain folder statistics and run a report containing words that are in the database but not found in the database glossary.
