About Exchange Connector
The
The connector supports only one Exchange server; if necessary, you can add an Exchange connector to support each additional Exchange server. Do not configure more than one Exchange connector for the same Exchange server.
Note: Microsoft has discontinued support for Exchange 5.5 and, as a result, Upland
If you upgrade your company's Exchange server, you must delete the Exchange connector and add it again.
Exchange connector requirements
Exchange 2000/2003 connector requirements
The Exchange 2000/2003 connector has the following requirements.

Exchange System Manager installed on the AccuRoute Server system.
Note: You can access user profiles via the Exchange System Manager on the server. You cannot access user profiles from a Remote Administrator.
Permissions - When using Exchange 2000/2003, you must configure the following permissions.

Exchange System Manager permissions

Upland AccuRouteservice account permissions

Active Directory permissions

Permissions to access the Exchange 2007/2003/2000 mailbox store.

Exchange 2007 connector requirements
The Exchange 2007 connector has the following requirements.

Foreign connector - The Exchange server must have a Foreign Connector specified with an address type that is not SMTP. Valid address types are: FAX, FAX1, MYFAX, COW, PIG, CAT, MOOO.
