About Received Faxes and Default RuleSets

The Upland AccuRoute server attempts to match and determine how to process the following message types.

  • Inbound messages against the Received Faxes Rulesets
  • Outbound messages against the Default RuleSets

Received Faxes RuleSets

The Received Faxes RuleSets specify the following parameters.

  • The criteria identifying what rule to match.
  • The actions to perform.
  • Any failover actions, if needed.

Accessing Received Faxes RuleSets

To access the Received Faxes RuleSets

  1. Start the Server Administrator.

On the Start menu, click Upland AccuRoute > Upland AccuRoute Server Administrator.

  1. Select RuleSets > Received Faxes. The details pane lists the default Received Faxes rules created when you installed the server.

Default RuleSets

The Default RuleSets specify the following parameters.

  • The criteria identifying what rule to match.
  • The actions to perform.
  • Any failover actions, if needed.

Accessing Default RuleSets

To access the Default RuleSets

  1. Start the Server Administrator.

On the Start menu, click Upland AccuRoute > Upland AccuRoute Server Administrator.

  1. Select RuleSets > Default. The details pane lists the Default rules created when you installed the server.

Note: You can also create custom User RuleSets or modify or delete existing rules, as needed. For information on how to create a new rule, see User RuleSets.
