About Registered Users
Registered Users is a database associated with the Upland AccuRoute server which stores the special properties and access permissions for users. The Registered Users database contains information for different kinds of users:

Default user. For more information on the default user, see About default user.

Users registered by an administrator

Users automatically registered by the AccuRoute/Fax server
Registering users
You should register a new user if:

The user will evaluate the faxes of another user. (approval or review)

The user needs to have outbound faxes evaluated. (approval or review)

The user will route inbound faxes using FaxCenter.

You want to assign delegates, assistants, or a printer to the user.

You want to allow the user to run the AccuRoute Client.

You want to allow the user to send faxes using the Web Client.

You want to apply a ruleset to a particular user.

Properties for registered users
Properties and permissions for registered users include:

General properties - Using the general properties, you can assign assistants and printers to the user and apply a ruleset.

AccuRoute properties - Using the AccuRoute properties, , you can allow a user to run AccuRoute Desktop, route messages to connectors, view embedded directives, look up contacts, and validate billing information.

Approval properties - Using the Approval properties, , you can configure approval or review for the user's outbound faxes and give the user permissions to evaluate other user's faxes.

FaxCenter properties - Using the FaxCenter properties, you can give the user permissions to use FaxCenter and its related features, specify an email address filter for routing destinations, give the user a routing identity, and configure how much information about faxes the user can see.

Web Client properties - Using the Web Client properties, , you can assign delegates to the user and configure delegate permissions, and give the user permissions to send faxes using the Web Client.
