Routing sheets are created from routing sheet templates on the server. These routing sheet templates can be customized to suit the needs of your company. You can modify the routing sheet templates installed on the server and create new routing sheet templates that might have general or specific uses in your company.

Using a cover page routing sheet
While the routing sheet's primary function is to carry an outbound message's Embedded Directive to the server, the routing sheet also serves as a cover page for the message. When a user creates a routing sheet, the user can choose to include the routing sheet as part of the delivered message, or omit the routing sheet from the delivered message.
Note: The routing sheet must be either the first page or the last page in order to detect and create messages.
