Adding the DMS Allow Partial Profiling Property

Administrators using the NetDocuments Document Management System (DMS) can add the DMS Allow Partial Profiling property to routing rules that will allow NetDocuments users to do a  partial profiling of scanned documents. Every document has a profile that contains attributes (metadata) used to describe and identify the document; for example, Client, Matter or Author. The NetDocuments Administrator defines these attributes for effective document management and enhanced searching capability.

However, NetDocuments users may not have all of the required  information to profile a document during scanning. This is where the DMS Allow Partial Profiling property becomes instrumental in the delivery of documents. The AccuRoute Server reviews the routing rules with the DMS Allow Partial Profiling property enabled and delivers the documents even though there may be missing attributes.
