Creating Folders
You can create folders by using the Server Administrator > Configuration node. Network Folders can have HP Flow CM, Dropbox, Network Folder Share (NFS) or File Transfer Protocol (FTP) destinations.
For Cloud Storage Folder users - OAuth Implementation at the MFP
OAuth (Open Authorization) is implemented at the MFP (Multifunction Printer) devices. If you are a first-time user of the Scan to Folder option at the MFP device, you will need to authenticate who you are by entering your login credentials and then authorize cloud storage access to your folders. You can authenticate and authorize at the device with the Scan to Folder option. If changes are made to your login credentials or access to the folders has expired, then you must reauthenticate and reauthorize at the device. The appropriate login and authorizing access screens will appear when authentication and authorization is required.
Note: This process applies to all Upland AccuRoute supported MFP devices and cloud storage services.

To create a new Folder for a Dropbox

Launch the Server Administrator, expand the Configuration node and select the Folders node.

Right-click Folders and select New > Dropbox. The Folder Properties screen appears.

In the General tab, enter a folder name in the Name text box.

Select the Allow users to navigate sub-folders check box, as needed.
If you select the first box, the Allow users to create subfolders check box becomes active. Select this box if appropriate. -
A default Folder Key value appears. It is recommended that you change the Folder Key value to one specific to the planned destination. For example, a Folder Key of SalesExpenseShare would be logical to assign to a folder of the same name.

Click OK. The new folder appears in the Folders node.
To create a new Folder as a File Transfer Protocol (FTP) location:

Launch the Server Administrator, expand the Configuration node and select the Folders node.

Right-click Folders and select New > FTP. The Folder Properties screen appears.

In the General tab, enter a folder name in the Name text box.

Select the Allow users to navigate sub-folders check box, as needed.
If you select the first box, the Allow users to create subfolders check box becomes active. Select this box if appropriate. -
A default Folder Key value appears. It is recommended that you change the Folder Key value to one specific to the planned destination. For example, a Folder Key of SalesExpenseShare would be logical to assign to a folder of the same name.

In the Settings tab, enter the path to the FTP address of interest.

Enter a User name and Password for FTP access credentials. Check the Use user supplied credentials if available check box, as needed.

Select an FTP Setting.

Check either the Passive Transfer or Allow connections to servers with improper certificates check boxes as appropriate.

Click OK. The new Folder appears in the Folders node.

To create a new Folder for HP Flow CM:

Launch the Server Administrator, expand the Configuration node and select the Folders node.

Right-click Folders and select New > Flow CM. The Folder Properties screen appears.

In the General tab, enter a folder name in the Name text box.

Select the Allow users to navigate sub-folders check box, as needed.

To create and configure a new Folder for a MS OneDrive for Business:
- Launch the Server Administrator and navigate to Configuration > Folders. Right-click Folders and select New > OneDrive. The Folder Properties screen opens.
- In the Settings tab, select OneDrive for Business. Enter your Tenant Name and Client ID and click OK. The new folder appears in the Folders node.
- To enable the added Folder, open the Groups node. Right-click the Group of interest and select Properties. The Group Properties screen appears. In the Jobs section, select Folders.
- Click the Enable members of this group to select the specified Folders box and then select the OneDrive Folder of interest. Click OK.
- Open the Devices node. Right-click the device of interest and select Properties. The Device Group Properties screen appears.
- On the Buttons tab, click Add and select Scan to Folder from the drop-down list on the pop-up.
- Also enter a Name for the new button.
To create a new Folder as a Network Folder Share

Start the Server Administrator, expand the Configuration node and select the Folders node.

Right-click Folders and select New > Network Folder Shares. The Folder Properties screen appears.

In the General tab, enter a folder name in the Name text box.

Select the Allow users to navigate sub-folders check box, as needed.
If you select the first box, the Allow users to create subfolders check box becomes active. Also select this box if appropriate. -
A default Folder Key value appears. It is recommended that you change the Folder Key value to one specific to the planned destination. For example, a Folder Key of SalesExpenseShare would be logical to assign to a folder of the same name.

In the Settings tab, enter the path to the Network Folder Share of interest.

Select a connection method, either by Service Account or by Specific Account. If you select Specific Account, you must also enter a User and Password.

If you want to require MFP users to sign in, select the Use user supplied credentials if available check box and click OK. Otherwise, just click OK.
When a user logs on to a device as an authenticated user, the system uses the credentials provided when it passes the document through to be stored in a folder.
To create SharePoint My Site as Virtual Folder

Launch Server Administrator, expand Configuration node and select the Folders node.

Right click Folders and select New > SharePoint. The Folder Properties screen displays

In General tab, enter a folder name in the Name Text field. Enable the checkbox Allow users to navigate subfolders. On enabling first checkbox, the Allow users to create subfolders checkbox becomes active.

In the Settings tab, enter the path of the SharePoint My site. See example below. http://SERVERNAME/my/personal/%SHAREPOINTUSERNAME%/Documents)

Check the Authentication type as Network.

Click OK. The SharePoint My site folder appears in the folders node

Select Configuration > Groups node in server admin, expand Jobs node and select Folders. Enable the SharePoint My site folder created previously.

Enable the Network Folder in the Clients > Access node of server admin.
Note: Users must each individually authorize the Server to access their My Site.
Authorize SharePoint My Site folder

To authorize SharePoint My site folder, launch WebApps client. Navigate to Preferences > Folder Authorization app

Select the SharePoint My site folder and click on Properties button

Authorization popup will display. Authorize the folder using personal Username and Password
Method 1: Route Documents to SharePoint My site folder via WebApps Client

Launch Create Distribution app of the WebApps Client, create a SharePoint My site job and send the job to SharePoint My site
Method 2: Route Documents to SharePoint My site folder via Device Client

Configure Device client by adding “Scan to Folder” button in server administrator.

Enable the SharePoint My site folder in the “Scan to Folder” button properties page.

Scan a documents to SharePoint My site via device client
To create and configure a new Folder for WebDav:
- Launch the Server Administrator and navigate to Configuration > Folders. Right-click Folders and select New > WeDav. The Folder Properties screen opens.
- In the Settings tab, for the WebDAV URL field, enter your details, for example:
- http://servername/webdav
- Click OK. The new folder appears in the Folders node.
- To enable the added Folder, open the Groups node and double-click the Default group.
- The Group Properties screen appears. In the Jobs section, select Folders.
- Click the Enable members of this group to select the specified Folders box and then select the WebDav Folder of interest. Click OK.
- Open the Devices node. Right-click the device of interest and select Properties. The Device Group Properties screen appears.
- On the Buttons tab, select Scan to Folder and click Add.
- With Scan to Folder still highlighted, click Properties. The Button Properties screen appears.
- In the Options tab, select Display authenticated user’s Group Folders and click OK, and OK again.
