Using Summation iBlaze
When you install the Summation Web Integration, an AccuRoute option is added to the iBlaze Client interface.
Note: The AccuRoute tab defaults to the AccuRoute Web Client New Routing Sheet page.
You can use the Summation Web integration to do the following:
You can create a new Routing sheet by using the Summation iBlaze Client.
To create a Summation Routing sheet
-
Open the Summation iBlaze Client.
-
Click the AccuRoute tab to open the AccuRoute form.
-
In the Title field, enter an appropriate title.
-
In the Beginning Document ID, enter an appropriate ID.
Note: Summation stores documents page by page. The Beginning Document ID you enter here can be viewed as a prefix. A number will be appended to the Beginning Document ID for each page (the number of digits appended is determined on a case by case basis by Summation). The next available number for the Beginning Document ID is used. For example, if your Beginning Document ID is AAA, there are 10 pages already stored in the case, and the number of digits appended to the Beginning Document ID is seven, then the next Document ID assigned will be AAA-0000011.
-
Select the appropriate options:
-
Allow multiple use - Select if you wish to use the routing sheet multiple times.
-
Create OCR text for scanned document - Select if you want AccuRoute to create OCR text for the scanned document. When the document is sent to Summation, OCR text is created and placed on the OCRBase page.
-
-
Click Create. The routing sheet is created and displays in PDF format.
-
Click View > Back to return to the AccuRoute form.
Note: The tool bar is divided into two sections, and both contain Back and Forward buttons. The Back and Forward buttons on the left-hand side of the tool bar move you back and forward between the open Summation iBlaze tabs. The Back and Forward buttons on the right-hand side of the tool bar move you back and forward within the currently active tab.
You can use an existing routing sheet in Summation by using the AccuRoute tab.
To use an existing routing sheet
-
Open the Summation iBlaze Client.
-
Click the AccuRoute tab to open the AccuRoute form.
-
Click the Distributions tab. Your saved distributions are listed.
-
To use a distribution, select the check box next to the distribution.
-
To view a distribution, click on the PDF icon.
-
Click View > Back to return to the AccuRoute form.
You can import documents into Summation iBlaze, but must scan the documents to the AccuRoute Server.
Note: The Beginning Document ID's specified on the AccuRoute routing sheet is changed after the document is imported into Summation. Summation is normalizing the specified Beginning Document ID to its own valid internal format.
Whenever the Routing sheet is reused, Summation increases the Beginning Document ID. Therefore, the only part of the Beginning Document ID you can use to search are the Beginning Document ID letters. For example, if the Beginning Document ID is ABC1234, the query for ABC* will return all the documents submitted using that Routing sheet.
To scan a document to the AccuRoute Server
-
Place your routing sheet in front of the document.
-
Go to your multi-function device and scan the routing sheet and document, selecting the AccuRoute Server as your destination.
Note: After a document is routed to the Summation ocrBase it is not immediately available for viewing. To make documents available for viewing, you need to run the Blaze ocrBase utility. This utility manually indexes the ocrBase. Please see your Summation documentation for more information on running the Blaze ocrBase utility.
