About Scan to Me

Scan to Me allows the Upland AccuRoute Server Administrator to configure the destination of documents scanned from a multifunction device using the Scan to Me button. The destination can be the user’s email (the default) or Active Directory home folder as specified by the Administrator.

Specifying the destination as a folder is useful when the device user does not have any specific Embedded Directive defined. In this case, when the user logs into the device and uses Scan to Me to scan a document, the process initiates a LDAP query to locate the destination folder and routes the scanned document to that folder.

In addition to specifying the destination, the Server Administrator can also specify the name and the format of the delivered scanned document.
