Running the Notes Setup Program
You can run the Notes setup program on the AccuRoute Server by using the setup.exe file located in the Server > Clients > Notes folder.
To run the Notes setup program

Log on to the Server Administrator.

Navigate to \\UplandAccuRoute\AccuRouteServer\Clients\Notes

Run setup.exe. The Welcome page opens.
Note: Do not run the Notes setup from the AccuRoute installation CD.

Click Next.

In the Install this application for section, make a selection.

Select the Anyone who uses this computer (all users) option if you are installing the Notes setup for all users on this computer.

Select the Only for me (omtool) option to install the Notes setup for the current user.

Click Next. The Choose Destination Location page opens.

Click Next to accept the default destination location C:\Program Files\UplandAccuRoute\AccuRouteFax. Alternately, if you want to change the destination location, click Browse, navigate to the directory where you want to install the Notes setup, click OK, and click Next.)
The Domino Server page opens. The Server text box is filled in with the canonical name of the Domino server. The name was detected by the setup program in the Notes.ini file.

Verify that the server name is correct and click Next. The Password page opens.

In the Password text box, enter the password associated with your Notes administrator account. Click Next. The Update mail template page opens.

Select Yes if you want to modify the default mail template and add fax options. Select No if you do not wish to make any modifications.

Click Next. The Domino Version page opens.
Note: If you selected Yes, the setup program creates a backup copy of the default mail template so that it can be restored if you uninstall the AccuRoute Fax Notes setup or modify the installation later via Add/Remove Programs. If you select No, users can send “one-off” faxes only. One-off faxes, created using the Notes New Memo, form do not support special AccuRoute Fax features such as secure fax delivery, preview, approval, etc.

Select the version of your Domino server - 5.x or 6.x. and click Next. The Default Mail Template page opens.
Based on the Domino server version you select, the setup program supplies the name of the default mail template on the Domino server: mail50.ntf for Domino server 5.x or mail6.ntf for Domino server 6.x.

If the default mail template file on the Domino server is different than the file name that appears in the text box, enter the correct file name. Click Next. The Profile Management page opens.

Select Administrator Managed option if you want network administrators to create profiles and assign users to them. Otherwise select User Managed option so that the user can create and manage their own profiles.

Click Next. The Notes Foreign Domain page opens. The setup program creates a foreign domain for faxes created by Notes users. The default foreign domain name is AccuRoute Fax.

If you want to change the name of the foreign domain for faxes, type a new name in the text box.
Note: The fax foreign domain name must be included in one-off faxes.

Click Next. The Start Copying Files page opens.

Review the installation settings and click Next. When installation is complete you see a message indicating that the setup was successful.

Click OK. The InstallShield Wizard Complete page opens.

Click Finish to complete the installation.

Restart the computer for the changes to take effect.
