About WebApps Journal Copy to Clipboard

The WebApps Journal displays message activity on the Upland AccuRoute Server. The Journal is an effective tool in helping users troubleshoot issues that may arise.

You can use the Journal to perform the following tasks.

  • View all events related to the message on the server.

  • Copy the Journal entries and paste them into an email or other application.

Accessing the Journal

You can view all message activity by reviewing a message’s properties.

To access the Journal

  1. Start WebApps from your browser.

  2. Select Messages on the Home page.

  3. Select any of the following Message folders.

    • Inbox

    • Outbox

    • History

  1. Select any message.

  2. Select the Properties button in the toolbar. The Job Properties dialog box appears.

  3. Select the Journal tab. The Journal list appears and shows all activity related to the message.

  1. Select Close.

Copying to the Clipboard

You can copy the following journal entries and more to the clipboard.

  • Job ID – Shows a message’s job id.

  • Destination – Shows where the message was delivered to.

  • Originator – Shows who sent the message.

  • Related Jobs – Shows jobs that are related to one another, for example, an initial workflow is set up to process all jobs. A related job is set up to send an email notification if a job fails.

  1. Start WebApps from your browser.

  2. Select Messages on the Home page.

  3. Select any of the following Message folders.

    • Inbox

    • Outbox

    • History

  1. Select any message.

  2. Select the Properties button in the toolbar. The Job Properties dialog box appears.

  3. Select the Journal tab. The Journal list appears and shows all activity related to the message.

  4. Select Copy to Clipboard. A Copied message appears.

  5. Switch to another application and paste the Journal list.

  6. Select Close.
